We’ve rolled out a powerful set of updates designed to improve multi-channel visibility, and give your operators a faster, more intuitive workspace. The Operator workspace has been completely overhauled for speed, clarity, and consistency.
1. Reply Synchronization with Connected Channels’ Direct Messaging
Managing multi-channel communication just got cleaner. Messages sent directly from Facebook Messenger, Instagram, or Meta Business Suite now sync directly into your CometaFlow conversation timelines.
- Unified Timelines: External replies sent natively through Meta platforms now appear right inside CometaFlow as operator-side messages.
- Smart Bot Handover: When a human steps in directly through Meta, CometaFlow instantly recognizes that control has shifted. The bot pauses automatically so it won’t talk over your team.
- Duplicate Prevention and Clean State: CometaFlow intelligently filters out redundant API echoes, keeping your chat history pristine.
- Seamless Return to Bot: Finished with your manual session? Just use the standard Return to bot action when you’re ready to hand the conversation back over to automation.
Important!: Writing directly in the connected channels is not recommended. This feature is designed as Plan Z, not to lose any message if you write directly anyway.
Good to know: This feature applies to all incoming conversations moving forward (older messages sent prior to this update are not automatically imported). No extra configuration required!
2. Compact Navigation
- Icon Rail Sidebar: Use the collapse button in the Operator filter row to tuck away the desktop sidebar into a clean icon rail. Icons remain fully clickable, and hovering over them reveals their labels.
- Mobile Menu: Access the navigation sidebar instantly on mobile devices using the dedicated menu button.
3. Combined Conversation Filters and Smart Inbox
- Multi-Layer Filtering: Filter conversations seamlessly using a combination of Client, Conversation Status, Channel, Assigned agent, Workplace, and custom filters. Changing filters updates your inbox independently without closing the conversation you are currently viewing.
- Enhanced Assignment Views: Easily sort between All conversations, To Take Over (waiting for a human), CometaFlow (auto-managed), or specific operator queues.
4. Shared Conversation Review Statuses
- Needs Double Check: Automatically flags CometaFlow replies that require an operator’s second look.
- Shared “Unread” Markers: Tag conversations as unread to ensure you or a teammate revisit them later.
5. Improved Conversation Search
- Lightning-Fast Lookups: Search is now positioned right above the conversation list. Enter a customer name or message snippet, apply your filters, and hit Enter.
- Prioritized Results: Customer-name matches appear first, followed by message-text matches.
Important!: Internal notes remain strictly private and are excluded from search
6. Clearer Conversation List Design
Visual cues make scanning your queue effortless:
- Unread: White background with a bold customer name and message preview.
- Read: Clean grey background with standard text.
- Needs Double Check: Clearly marked with a dedicated review icon.
- Active chat: Highlighted with a light-violet background and a distinct left border.
7. Safer Conversation Assignment and Claims
- Conflict Prevention: The interface clearly shows whether a chat is managed by CometaFlow, unassigned, or handled by an operator.
- Protected Claims: Clicking Claim safely assigns the chat.
8. Larger Reply Composer and Isolated Drafts
- Room to Write: The reply field is now larger and optimized for longer, detailed messages.
- Smart Shortcuts: Hit Enter for a new line, and use Ctrl + Enter (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Enter (macOS) to fire off your reply.
- Safe Drafts: Drafts are isolated per conversation, meaning you can jump between chats without any risk of sending the wrong text.
9. Private, Editable Internal Notes
Collaborate behind the scenes without breaking a sweat:
- Dual Access: Add notes that appear simultaneously in the chronological conversation timeline and a quick-access pinned Notes section.
- Editable History: Need to update a note? Simply click Edit in the pinned section. The system preserves the original author and creation timestamp while logging the latest editor.
- Absolute Privacy: Internal notes are strictly for your team. They are never sent to customers, pushed to Meta, included in bot memory, or exposed in searches.
